Old Yeller

When the truck came into the shop, the owner let me know that she calls him Old Yeller, just like the dog from the movie. You can't help but fall in love with the truck. It's a 1949 Chevrolet 3100 5 Window Pro-Street Pickup, one of the most loved trucks to customize and make your own.

As you can see, this truck has had a lot of love put into it. It is powered by a Chevy small block 350, backed by a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. It puts power to the ground with a Ford 9" rear end with posi traction and massive, meaty tires on the back. You'll notice how clean the engine bay is, with a lot of polished chrome that has been well taken care of. The exterior is painted yellow and has the best stance I have seen on a pickup. The interior has a gray cloth seat, gray tweed door panels, and a yellow dash with Auto Meter gauges. The truck is also equipped with heat and AC, power windows, power brakes, and a kill switch. Anyone who knows these trucks knows that the doors take a little force to close, but the doors on this truck close with a slight touch. This pro-street truck needs nothing but a new home!
