The resto on this Bel Air started in 2013 after the car was pulled out of a barn. Going big right out the gate, they laid the groundwork with a Roadster Shop Chassis. Mandrel-bent frame rails front to back keep the undercarriage extremely clean and easy to maintain. Framed up with 1x1 square piping, the floors, firewall, wheel tubs, and inner fenders were custom made and fully undercoated. The rigid frame married to a Ford 9-inch rear end and coil over suspension makes this ride amazing and handles corners like a boss.

New quarters, doors, trunk, and roof skins were replaced with fresh metal. The front bumper was flipped, narrowed, and tucked, along with the rear bumper. Door jams were smoothed, and the hood bird was shaved, giving the exterior a sleek custom look. Once they had the look, Hydro Blue was sprayed down and covered with six coats of PPG show clear. The combination of color-matched components and chrome is perfect and accomplished the look they desired. Adding a staggered 18/20 set of Budnik wheels to grab the blacktop was the cherry on top.

Under the hood is a 6.0 LS2 pulled from a 2006 Pontiac GTO, nicely tucked in between the custom fabricated fender wells and firewall. Paired with the Tremec T56 6-speed transmission and Texas Speed cam, you have the entire package of power, sound, and functionality. Full stainless exhaust TIG-welded and navigated to perfection behind the rear wheels. Further adding to the modern drivability is the one-off interior styling, giving the feel of modern luxury with Hot Rod inspiration.
